Description
Grammar: Spell, punctuate and use grammar accurately
Languages: Translate the dialogue into the required language sensitively(for translaor subtitlers)
Screen spatial awareness: Understand how captions will appear on a screen and their impact on the viewing
Attention to detail: Work precisely to tight dealines with text and timing
Inserest in deaf audiences: Care about the experience of the deaf and hard-of-hearing
Use of software: Be adept in using the subtitling software
Additional: Also must be familiar with the media field and TV series, Movies, Variety show, News…etc.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as translation, linguistics, or language studies.
Minimum of one years of professional experience as a translator or interpreter.
Fluency in at least two languages, including English.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong research skill to ensure accurate translations of technical or industry-specific materials.
Strong knowledge of translation software and tools.
Capability to perform tasks autonomously and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently.
Excellent organizational andime management skills.
Strong focus on precision and a dedication to delivering excellent work.
