Position Summary

WWF-Cambodia is seeking a motivated Communications & Multimedia Production Intern with a passion for conservation, multimedia storytelling and digital communications. Based in Phnom Penh, with opportunities to travel to priority landscapes in Mondulkiri and Kratie, the intern will support the production of engaging visual and digital content that showcases WWF-Cambodia’s conservation work, people, partnerships and impact. Key responsibilities include capturing and editing high-quality photos and videos; producing short videos, reels, interviews, event highlights and field stories; developing photo stories, visual interviews, graphics and other digital content; and providing photography, videography and documentation support for campaigns, social media, websites, publications, meetings, workshops and events.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Communications & Multimedia Production Intern will primarily support the production of visual and digital content that showcases WWF-Cambodia’s conservation work, people, partnerships, and impact. Key responsibilities include:
• Photography and videography: Capture high-quality photos and video footage from field activities, community engagement, wildlife conservation work, events, workshops, interviews, and other WWF-Cambodia activities.
• Video production and editing: Support the production of short videos, reels, interviews, event highlights, and field stories, including footage selection, basic editing, subtitles, music, graphics, and formatting for different digital platforms.
• Photo production and editing: Select, edit, caption, and organize photographs for social media, websites, publications, campaigns, donor communications, and other communications products.
• Multimedia and digital content production: Develop engaging multimedia content for WWF-Cambodia’s communications and social media channels, including photo stories, short-form videos, reels, visual interviews, photo cards, graphics, and other digital assets showcasing wildlife, communities, conservation practitioners, women and youth, sustainable livelihoods, climate and energy solutions, conservation innovation, and programme achievements.
• Communications and event support: Provide photography, videography, documentation, and other communications support for campaigns, media activities, meetings, workshops, and organizational events.
• Perform other multimedia production and communications tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Languages

• Khmer - Fluent is required
• English - Good is preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in journalism, media and/or communications university is preferred
• Undergraduate Degree

General & Technical Skills

• Proven talent in storytelling, including news and feature writing, with passion for communicating about biodiversity and environment
• Knowledge of relevant software applications including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Power Point, Adobe software (Photoshop, Premiere, Indesign, Illustrator…)
