Accountant

Job Description

• Manage the General Ledger (GL), bookkeeping, and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), monitor outstanding balances, and coordinate with team leaders to ensure timely collections.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), process vendor payments, and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Prepare and reconcile daily showroom sales reports and POS transactions.
• Support payroll processing in collaboration with the HR department and ensure accurate salary-related records.
• Perform inventory accounting, calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and reconcile stock records with physical inventory.
• Prepare tax-related documents and ensure compliance with IRD (Internal Revenue Department) regulations and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in B.Com, B.Act, Finance, or a related field. Candidates with ACCA (Part II) or LCCI Level 3 qualifications are preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Finance or Accounting professional in a corporate environment, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proficient in ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks, as well as Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Working hours-9:00Am to 5:30Pm
• Off Days-Sunday & Gazetted Holiday
