Position Summary

• The Income Auditor plays a crucial role within the Hotels and Resorts industry by ensuring the accurate
• Reporting of revenue through careful auditing and analysis. This position is responsible for verifying all income
• Sources, reconciling accounts, and providing insights that support the financial integrity of the establishment.
• The Income Auditor contributes to maintaining transparent financial practices and supports the management team in achieving financial goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Revenue Verification and Reconciliation
• Review daily revenue and night audit reports.
• Reconcile income discrepancies across multiple hotel departments.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and operational procedures
• Financial Reporting
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Track and report revenue trends and notable inconsistencies.
• Compliance and Controls
• Monitor adherence to tax regulations and hotel policies.
• Assist in internal audits and control assessments.
• Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance as a minimum

Work History

• Income Auditor in Hotels and Resorts industry for 2 to 3 years as a minimum
• Accounting Assistant in Hospitality Management industry for 1 to 2 years is preferred
