APIM Developer

Job Description

We are looking for 2 skilled APIM Developers to join our growing team. Candidates with experience in API Management, Groovy, and JavaScript are highly preferred. However, applicants with strong JavaScript or Java Spring Boot skills are also encouraged to apply, even if they do not have prior Groovy experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support API Management (APIM) solutions. 
• Design and implement API integrations and services.
• Write and maintain scripts using Groovy and JavaScript.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java Spring Boot when required.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth system integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API and integration issues.
• Ensure API security, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in technical discussions, testing, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree of education in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in JavaScript or Java Spring Boot Development
• Experience with API Management (APIM) platforms or API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript. Experience with Groovy scripting is preferred.
• Candidates without Groovy experience but with strong JavaScript skills are welcome to apply.  
• Candidates with strong Java Spring Boot experience are also encouraged to apply. 
• Understanding of REST APIs and web services. 
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  NICE TO HAVE 
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and container technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
