Entrepreneurship Innovation Specialist

Workplace Circumstances

Position Summary

Term: Rolling 12-month contract with a probationary period of 3 months. The contract will be extendable based on satisfactory performance preceding the contract assessment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop the entrepreneurship strategy and roadmap, and support the division's annual budget planning.
• Initiate, lead, and oversee the execution of entrepreneurship development programs.
• Evaluate program proposals related to business capacity upgrading, negotiate terms, and formulate funding recommendations.
• Coordinate and conduct partner orientation sessions with relevant teams.
• Perform ecosystem analysis or mapping to identify opportunities for strategic local and international partnerships.
• Conduct due diligence on support-seeking entities and review project partnership proposals to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions for program implementation.
• Monitor the progress of funded programs and ensure adherence to all funding requirements.
• Lead the production of program implementation reports and compile program success stories.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, or a related field

Work History

• Project planning, project management, budget planning, and stakeholder management for 3 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of the Cambodian SME and Startup ecosystem.
• Proficiency in using enterprise management and monitoring systems.
• Background in private sector development, enterprise formulation, SME/Startup development, and/or market system development is highly desirable.
• Good command of both Khmer and English.

• Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently deliver results.
• Good analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
