Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and update daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational and management reports.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Dashboards and Reporting solutions (Excel or BI base).
• Gather reporting requirements from business users and translate them into meaningful dashboards and reports.
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and modelling using Power Query, Power Pivot, and other analytical tools.
• Develop and maintain reusable data models and reporting datasets.
• Analyze insurance premiums, claims, policy performance, loss ratios, customer complaints, and operational KPIs.
• Monitor branch, sales, and business performance and provide analytical insights.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reporting standards.
• Support data governance initiatives and improve data quality.
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
• Support UAT for new systems, reports, and enhancement initiatives.
• Document reporting procedures, dashboard specifications, and data definitions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Claims, Finance, Sales, IT, and Management teams.
• Support digital transformation and business improvement initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

Work History

• BI (is advantage), data analytics, reporting, or related fields (experience in banks or MFIs is an advantage) for 1 to 2 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of microinsurance and banking operations (insurance, Loan, Deposit concepts).
• Strong interest in data analysis and BI development.
• Proficient in Dashboard visualization, data modeling basics.
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation.
• Experience with Data Modeling for data modeling.
• Experience with Power Pivot for data visualization.
• Good knowledge of Excel and data-processing tools.
• Understanding of data validation and reporting accuracy.

Soft Skills

• High willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
• Ability to handle multiple reporting tasks in a timely manner.
