We are seeking experienced Senior Java Developer to support a strategic enterprise application modernization initiative. The role involves developing and enhancing enterprise-grade Java applications while contributing to the migration of existing .NET based solutions to a modern Java technology stack. The successful candidates will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing applications and contribute to migration and modernization activities.
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
Implement secure and scalable solutions using Spring Security, Hibernate, and JPA.
Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and stakeholders.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Design and optimize SQL databases and application performance.
Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Prepare technical documentation and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Java 17+
Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
Hibernate / JPA
REST API & Microservices development
SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
Git and CI/CD pipelines
Docker and containerization
Experience with AWS (eg. EKS), Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization
Knowledge of React, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, or frontend technologies is an advantage
Knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is a plus
Knowledge of using Cammunda 7 is a plus Preferred Additional Experience
Experience migrating applications from .NET to Java.
Experience with cloud-native and distributed systems.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
Java or Cloud certifications will be an advantage.
