Business Intelligence Officer (01 position)

*Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in BI, data analytics, reporting, or related fields (experience in banks or MFIs is an advantage).
• Basic understanding of banking operations (Loan, Deposit, Digital Banking, Fraud/AML concepts).
• Strong interest in data analysis and BI development.
• Proficient in Power BI (visualization, data modeling basics).
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation.
• Basic understanding of Azure AD and Power BI service/embedded.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for business teams, management, branches, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop BI dashboards and performance reports using Power BI and other analytical tools.
• Support ETL processes and data preparation using Power Query, SQL, or Python.
• Work with business units to collect reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across BI systems.
• Assist in integrating and validating new data sources into BI platforms.
• Conduct basic to intermediate-level data analysis to identify trends, variances, and business insights.
• Support the BI Manager and Senior BI Officer in project tasks, system improvements, and BI initiatives.
• Document reporting procedures and maintain BI-related files and datasets.
• Assist with ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks as assigned by manager.
