Job description
Job Purpose
Lead business-side testing and release assurance for new products, services, promotions, system changes and digital releases. The role ensures requirements are tested end to end, material defects are addressed, and frontline and support teams are ready before launch.
Job Responsibilities
- Translate approved business requirements and customer journeys into UAT scope, test scenarios, acceptance criteria and delivery plans.
- Maintain the UAT calendar and prioritize testing based on launch timing, customer impact, revenue exposure and operational risk.
- Lead end-to-end business testing and ensure test evidence and results are complete and traceable to requirements.
- Classify defects, coordinate retesting and escalate critical issues affecting customers, revenue, compliance or operations.
- Provide evidence-based readiness recommendations for release approval, conditional approval or postponement.
- Validate operational readiness, including SOPs, access, communications, training materials, reporting and post-launch support.
- Allocate work, coach team members and report clearly on test progress, risks, dependencies and release readiness.
- Analyze escaped defects and recurring testing gaps and implement improvements for future releases.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Telecommunications or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in UAT, business operations, product implementation, digital services, system delivery or quality assurance. Previous experience leading a team, workstream or cross-functional testing activity is strongly preferred.
