Finance Manager

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA certification preferred (F1-F9 Level)
• 5-10 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 2-3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or FM in the construction or real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of project financing and construction accounting.

Technical and Soft Skills:
o Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Cuscen).
o Knowledge of local real estate laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
o Leadership and team management experience.

• Develop and oversee financial models/structures for construction projects, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Oversee the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company and individual projects.
• Prepare regular financial reports, including cash flow projections, income statements, and balance sheets.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control
• Identify variances between actual and budgeted costs and propose corrective measures.
• Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for project financing and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards (e.g., CIFRS), and local real estate laws.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to align financial goals with operational plans.
• Implement and maintain financial systems (e.g., ERP solutions) tailored for construction and real estate operations.
