Manage and oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ledgers, and financial documents.
Prepare and review Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and other financial reports.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
Prepare and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, bank, and general ledger accounts.
Reconcile bank accounts, cash balances, customer accounts, supplier accounts, and other financial records.
Monitor the company’s income, expenses, cash flow, and overall financial position.
Ensure all accounting transactions are properly recorded, supported, and authorized.
Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and expense analysis when required.
Monitor and control company expenses in accordance with approved budgets and policies.
Handle tax-related accounting, documentation, and reporting in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, suppliers, and other relevant parties when necessary.
Review accounting documents, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of accounting and financial documents.
Establish and maintain effective internal accounting controls and procedures.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve financial issues in a timely manner.
Provide accurate financial information and reports to management for decision-making.
Supervise, guide, and review the work of accounting staff.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
Education & Professional Qualifications
LCCI Level 1, 2 & 3 completed is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Additional accounting or finance qualifications will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Must be able to prepare and finalize Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statements independently.
Good understanding of General Ledger, Trial Balance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Flow, and Bank Reconciliation.
Proficient in EPS Accounting Software and able to handle accounting transactions and financial reports independently.
Good command of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, financial calculations, and reporting.
Knowledge of taxation and statutory financial requirements.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting controls.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant, or similar position.
Experience in handling full-set accounting is strongly preferred.
Experience in supervising accounting staff is an advantage.
Experience in preparing management reports and financial statements is preferred.
