Position Summary

Term: Rolling 12-month contract with a probationary period of 3 months. The contract will be extendable based on satisfactory performance preceding the contract assessment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead, design and implement initiatives related to entrepreneurship-building activities
• Build partnerships with relevant stakeholders including but not limited to government agencies, development partners, corporate partners, experts, and other marine fishery value chain actors
• Closely working with start-ups, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), community-protected areas, and fishery communities in the coastal areas
• Review and evaluate funding proposals related to entrepreneurship cultural promotions, capacity upgrading, business networking, access to the market, and financing
• Monitor the progress of the funding program, and ensure that fund requirements are met
• Lead preparation program implementation report consolidated success stories of the program
• Organize and coordinate programs, including agenda proposals, invitations to all stakeholders, event management
• Other tasks as assigned by the management

Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Bachelor's Degree in Business administration, entrepreneurship, innovation, or a related field

Work History

• Project planning, project management, budget planning, and stakeholder management for 3 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of the Cambodian SME and Startup ecosystem.
• Proficiency in using enterprise management and monitoring systems.
• Background in private sector development, enterprise formulation, SME/Startup development, and/or market system development is highly desirable.
• Good command of both Khmer and English.

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently deliver results.
• Good analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
