Transit Stay Supervisor

Position Summary

Reports to GM

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, staff, and guest services to ensure a clean, comfortable, and well-run property.
• Oversee passenger flow, short-term lodging, transfers, and guest services for travelers experiencing layovers, delayed transit, or designated transit-stay accommodations.
• Communicate with local and overseas partners to create new markets.
• Develop new markets with tour and agency partners.
• Provide training for staff under supervision on good customer service, hygiene, and safety.
• Control room inventory and rates within the limits set by Finance and our Booking.com and Agoda accounts.
• Plans reception and housekeeping rosters and shares the night on-call rotation.
• Coordinates GI passenger stays with Operations and bus schedules.
• Handles escalated complaints and sends daily and weekly reports to the GM and Finance.

Languages

• English is required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management, Business, or a related field.

Work History

• Work experience in the hotel and tourism industry; front office supervision in a hotel or guesthouse; online travel agency extranet experience for 3 to 5 years as a minimum
