Accountant

Description

- Good communication and coordination skills internal, business partners and tax authorities
- Prepare and maintain tax related documents, supporting schedule and records for tax transactions and compliance purpose.
- Prepare and submit monthly / quarterly tax returns & e-filing accurately with the deadlines.
- Prepare, issue, collect and follow up on CT Forms, including Form 2 & 31 with relevant parities
- Prepare and maintain IT and CT calculations documents and supporting records as required.
- Submit required tax returns, Forms and supporting documents to the IRD/relevant tax officer and coordinate with IRD officers on tax filings, assessments, queries, and documentation requirements.
- Perform tax reconciliations and prepare tax-related schedules and management reports, ensuring tax balances and transactions are properly reconciled with accounting records.
- Assist with tax audits, tax assessments and IRD inquiries by providing required information, documents and supporting schedules.
- Perform other tax/accounting duties and ad-hoc assigned by senior Accountant/ACA/HOD

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- LCCI Level 3 or relevant accounting qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experiences in Taxation / Accounting.
- Good knowledge of Myanmar tax laws.
-Practical experience in tax filing, e-filing, Form 2 Form 31 and IRD procedures
- Good Command of Excel and word skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
