IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive feature, functional, and specification requirement documents (BRD/FRD/SRD) for assigned projects with stakeholder validation 
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture functional and non-functional requirements (security, compliance, performance, availability) 
• Maintain traceability from business need through specification to 
  development handover 
• Analyze change requests and assess impact on existing requirements and system design 
• Act as the single source of truth (SoT) for all user requirements of the 
  assigned platform, ensuring requirements are centrally documented, 
  version-controlled, validated, and consistently referenced across stakeholders 
• Contribute to initiative and feature prioritization aligned with organizational strategy and product management goals 

• Advise stakeholders on scope trade-offs, sequencing, and feasibility 

  Design and Quality Coordination 

• Review and validate wireframes, sitemaps, and UI designs prior to 
  development kickoff, and facilitate design validation workshops to ensure UI aligns with approved requirements 
• Support UAT results including test case status, defects identified, and 
  production readiness 

• Track test completion against defined quality standards 

  Project Governance and Administration 

• Log and track Business Analyst project tasks with regular status updates 
• Document project outcomes, decisions, and blockers 

• Prepare management and executive-level summaries and insights 

  Stakeholder Engagement 

• Support change management and user adoption activities, including system demonstrations, user communication, and post-delivery feedback collection 
• Define and track business outcomes and success criteria by presenting 
  delivered features and enhancements to validate requirements and gather stakeholder feedback 
• Coordinate and participate in solution quality reviews with development teams to address technical defects identified by Quality Assurance engineers 
• Coordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and 
  maintain project guidelines, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy documentation 
• Communicate system value, functionality, and requirement clarifications to end-users and stakeholder groups 
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment, satisfaction, and timely resolution of issues 

• Facilitate coordination and alignment across internal and external working groups to ensure shared understanding of requirements, priorities, decisions, and project dependencies throughout the lifecycle

  Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by management and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field 

• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Digital 
  Transformation is an advantage 

  Experience 

• Minimum two to three years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Project Manager, or Systems Analyst 
• Hands-on experience in requirements analysis for enterprise-level or 
  government systems is an advantage 
• Proven experience preparing comprehensive requirements documentation with stakeholder validation 
• Experience managing change requests and conducting impact analysis in complex project environments 
• Background with project governance and task management systems 
• Experience delivering system demonstrations and communicating effectively with stakeholders 
• Familiarity with multi-platform application environments (web, mobile, and related technologies) 
• Experience in government or ministry-level IT settings is an advantage 
• Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement methodologies 

• Experience in system integration
