Assistant Business Development Manager

Description

• Promote existing brands and introduce new products to expand market share and strengthen sales performance.
• Develop and implement strategic business, sales, and marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, including A&P (Advertising & Promotion) planning, expenditure control, and quarterly claims submission.
• Plan and execute monthly, quarterly, and seasonal promotional campaigns across all SKUs to achieve sales and marketing targets.
• Monitor and evaluate sales team performance, providing guidance, targets, and action plans to ensure consistent achievement of goals.
• Maintain accurate records of A&P activities, materials, and inventory, ensuring efficient coordination with the warehouse and marketing teams.
• Design and oversee the production of marketing materials such as brochures, catalogues, and promotional tools.
• Monitor sales performance, evaluate promotional effectiveness, and provide analytical reports for continuous business growth.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in any; a Diploma in business administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in sales, marketing or business development (FMCG experience preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting, market analysis, and promotional planning.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to coordinate across teams and with external partners.
• The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
• Creative mindset with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and demonstrate effective time management skills.
