Job description

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in an HR generalist, HR business partner, or HR administration role, preferably within Cambodia.
  • Sound working knowledge of Cambodian labor law, NSSF procedures, and MLVT requirements.
  • Proficient in Odoo, CheckinMe, and standard Microsoft/Google Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent communication in Khmer and English.

About the Role
Manages the full employee lifecycle - recruitment, onboarding, compliance, compensation, training, employee relations, and offboarding - while ensuring compliance with Cambodian labor law and keeping employee records accurate and confidential.

Key Responsibilities
<b>Recruitment</b>

  • Source and shortlist candidates through professional networks, universities, and agencies, then schedule and facilitate interviews.
  • Negotiate compensation and employment terms with selected candidates.

<b>Onboarding</b>

  • Create new employee records, issue offer letters and probation contracts, and conduct staff orientation.
  • Coordinate documentation, IT/system access, and registration in Odoo and CheckinMe.

<b>Compliance</b>

  • Manage NSSF declarations, MLVT requests, and ongoing compliance with Cambodian labor law.
  • Maintain the employee handbook and safeguard the confidentiality of employee records.

<b>Compensation & Benefits</b>

  • Calculate monthly payroll and overtime, process salary advances and increments, and manage related banking transactions.
  • Contribute to company policy development and organize staff events and gatherings.

<b>Training & Development</b>

  • Organize and facilitate training programs and support KPI/OKR facilitation across teams.
  • Partner with department managers on individual staff development goals.

<b>Employee Relations</b>

  • Manage grievances, support disciplinary actions and investigations, and lead employee engagement initiatives.

<b>Offboarding</b>

  • Process resignations and terminations, conduct exit interviews, and oversee final settlement, clearance, and handover.
