Cost & Fixed Asset Accountant

Job Description

• Record company and project fixed assets following established procedures, forms, and controls.
• Record fixed assets of bad debt tenants following procedures, forms, and controls set by the Asset Committee.
• Assign tag numbers to each fixed asset to effectively track its location and movement over time.
• Assign tag numbers to each fixed asset of bad debt tenants to effectively track its location and movement over time in coordination with the Asset Committee.
• Record newly acquired and disposed fixed assets in the accounting system.
• Periodically spot-check purchase requests and purchase orders against the corresponding quotations.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a cost & fixed asset accountant, accountant or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Desire to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
• Good in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and good English communication skills.
• Understanding of building operations, integrity and accountability, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances.
