Job Description

1. Edit short-form and long-form legal educational videos.

2. Add subtitles, captions, graphics, animations, and transitions.

3. Create engaging hooks 

4. Maintain brand consistency (logo, colors, fonts, intro/outro).

5. Enhance audio quality and color correction.

6. Source royalty-free music, sound effects, and B-roll footage.

7. Create multiple versions of content for different platforms.

8. Collaborate with lawyers and the marketing team to ensure legal accuracy.

9. Organize project files and maintain a content library.

10. Deliver videos according to the content calendar and deadlines.

Requirements

1. 1–3 years of video editing experience.

2. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro.

3. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.

4. Experience editing educational or professional content is preferred.

5. Ability to create motion graphics and animated text.

6. Knowledge of social media video specifications.

7. Strong communication and time management skills.

8. Ability to receive feedback and revise efficiently.

Preferred Skills

Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).

Thumbnail design.

Basic knowledge of legal terminology.

AI tools for editing (e.g., auto-captioning, AI voice cleanup).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Edit 20–30 short videos per week.

Deliver 95% of projects on time.

Maintain less than 2 revision rounds per video.

Achieve high audience retention (especially the first 30 seconds).

Zero publishing errors (wrong captions, branding, or legal disclaimers).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Total working hours: 40 hours per week

Overtime only when required for urgent campaigns.

Working Days

5 working days per week (Monday–Friday)

Saturday & Sunday: Off
