Technical Assurance Specialist

Job Purpose

Support Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management by ensuring the accuracy of configurations across billing systems, network elements, microservices, and third-party platforms. Monitor system changes, maintain assurance controls, and identify risks that may impact revenue, regulatory compliance, or operational performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Validate and review configurations across billing, network, micro-service, 3rd party ser-vices and related systems to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance with approval if required.
• Monitor system changes, implement and maintain alerts, notification alarms, and assur-ance controls within RAFM platforms.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of assigned processes, tasks and controls to support RAFM functions.
• Conduct configuration verification, validation, and ad hoc technical assurance activities within RAFM platforms.
• Investigate configuration issues and coordinate corrective/preventive/mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the required processes, monitoring rules, and documentation of all integrated RAFM platforms.
• Prepare technical assurance reports and provide insights on configuration risks and con-trol effectiveness.
• Support continuous improvement of system synchronization, configuration assurance, monitoring capabilities, and operational controls to achieve the target level of operational excellence.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and system changes that may impact assurance activities to set up the control review process.
• Monitor RAFM system performance, system availability, data integrity with recovery and backups.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of databases, system architecture, and programming concepts.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in telecommunications, IT systems, auditing, technical assurance, or related technical field.
• Understanding of telecom network topology and system configurations.
• Exposure to billing systems, network systems, or assurance processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Vertica or similar databases.
• Familiarity with Python, C#, .NET, PHP, or Node.js or experiences with Big Data technologies and modern data analytics tools is an added advantage.
• Data integration & validation, risk assessment & control evaluation, analytical & investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of risk control matrix, regulation, compliance, and telecommunications operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
