- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- [2–5] years of experience in tender management, proposal development, B2B sales, or business development.
- Demonstrated experience preparing commercial and technical bids.
- Strong written communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, tender portals, and document-management tools is an advantage.

Preferred Experience
- Experience bidding for government, enterprise, construction, technology, healthcare, or other regulated-sector contracts.
- Understanding of procurement procedures, contractual terms, and tender compliance requirements.

Role Summary
The Bidding Sales Specialist manages the end-to-end tender and proposal process, from identifying suitable opportunities through submission, negotiation, and contract award. The role works closely with sales, technical, finance, legal, procurement, and operations teams to develop accurate, compliant, and commercially competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor public and private tender portals and identify relevant bidding opportunities.
- Evaluate opportunities based on eligibility, profitability, strategic fit, and delivery capability.
- Review tender documents and prepare compliance checklists, submission schedules, and responsibility matrices.
- Coordinate technical, commercial, legal, and financial inputs from internal stakeholders.
- Prepare persuasive proposals, quotations, presentations, and supporting documentation.
- Develop pricing and commercial offers in collaboration with finance and management.
- Ensure every submission meets the buyer’s requirements, format, and deadline.
- Maintain bid calendars, document libraries, tender records, and approval documentation.
- Manage clarification questions, presentations, negotiations, and post-submission follow-ups.
- Build relationships with prospective clients, procurement teams, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
- Track bid outcomes and analyze win/loss reasons to improve future performance.
- Support contract handover to operations after a successful award.
- Maintain awareness of competitors, market trends, customer needs, and procurement regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable tender rules.
