Position Summary

Workplace: Bousra

Responsible for leading laboratory and quality control activities to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable testing of raw materials, rubber products, boiler water, and wastewater. The role ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and the company Quality Management System, manages laboratory staff and equipment, oversees quality documentation, audits, customer claims, non-conforming products, and corrective actions, and drives continuous quality improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise laboratory and QC teams.
• Conduct and verify rubber, raw material, water, and wastewater testing.
• Maintain ISO 9001/QMS compliance and quality records.
• Manage laboratory equipment, calibration, consumables, and cleanliness.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conforming products.
• Conduct internal audits and follow up corrective/preventive actions.
• Support external audits and management reporting.
• Ensure timely test results, customer satisfaction, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or Applied Science

Work History

• Supervising a laboratory for 5 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of rubber production is required.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management System and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Good computer skills and basic computer literacy

Soft Skills

• Rigorous, careful, and accurate in work.
• Ability to understand and analyze physical phenomena and lead, manage, and motivate staff.
