Finance & Accounting General Manager

Job Description

Role for this position The Finance & Accounting General Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all finance and accounting functions of the company. The position ensures compliance with NX Group policies, Cambodian regulations, and accounting standards while strengthening internal controls, improving accounting transparency, and supporting business growth through effective financial management. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the Finance & Accounting Division to ensure effective daily operations. • Supervise, coach, and develop finance and accounting staff. • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial condition of the company. • Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. • Monitor general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, treasury, and reconciliation activities. • Maintain compliance with Cambodian tax regulations, statutory requirements, NX Group policies, and internal company rules. • Strengthen internal controls and ensure transparency of accounting processes. • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and follow up on audit findings. • Identify issues and inefficiencies in current accounting and approval processes. • Support the development, implementation, and improvement of integrated accounting systems. • Provide financial analysis, advice, and recommendations to the Managing Director and management team. Job Requirements

• Desired Age: Preferably around 40 years old or older, depending on experience, qualifications, and management capability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting or finance qualification is preferred, such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CAT, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting and finance, including at least 7 years in a management position.
• Strong experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, internal control, and tax compliance.
• Experience in ERP, accounting system implementation, or system improvement projects.
• Experience in a multinational company or logistics / freight forwarding industry is an advantage.
• Strong command of English; Japanese is the plus, if applicable.
