Graphic Designer

Job Description

Graphic designers create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers and ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately. They develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
• Plans concept by studying information and materials.
• Create attractive online and offline marketing materials for our brands.
• You will contribute to a style guide that dictates the colours, fonts, and design patterns that are used in our company
• Use design standards, guidelines and best practices
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with teams across Marketing & Sales
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of Graphic Design experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media & Arts program, or other qualifications
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Be an expert with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Excellent communication skills - you can connect easily with others
• Creativity and willingness to work on own initiative
