Position Summary

The Sales Officer is responsible for growing the company's trucking business by finding new customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and selling the company's transport services profitably. The Sales Officer works closely with the Costing, Operation and Finance teams to make sure every customer receives the right price, reliable service and accurate billing.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Find and approach new customers (factories, manufacturers, distributors and project companies) that need trucking services.
• Promote and sell the company's services
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the Sales Team Leader.
• Collect customer requirements and work with the Costing team to prepare accurate, profitable quotations.
• Negotiate rates and terms within approved pricing authority, and prepare contracts and renewals for management approval.
• Act as the main contact for assigned customers and build strong long-term relationships through regular visits.
• Handle customer requests and complaints, and coordinate solutions with the operation team.
• Pass confirmed orders to the Dispatch team on time, follow up on deliveries, and keep customers informed.
• Support the Account Receivable team in collecting customer payments and report customers with payment risk.
• Collect market and competitor information, keep the customer database updated, and submit regular sales reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics or a related field

Work History

• Sales experience, preferably in trucking, logistics, freight forwarding or B2B services for 1 to 2 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of trucking and logistics: truck types, load capacity, routes and delivery planning.
• Good negotiation, presentation and customer service skills.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and messaging apps (Telegram, WhatsApp, WeChat).
• Good spoken and written Khmer and English; Chinese is an advantage.
