• Maintain and oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Review and reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide the required documentation.
• Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager or CFO.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- LCCI Level III, ACCA (Part Qualified), CPA, or other relevant accounting qualifications are preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant position.
- Experience in the automotive, car showroom, or retail industry is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and Myanmar accounting regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as MYOB, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Ability to prepare financial statements, monthly closing reports, and management reports accurately and on time.
- Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and fixed asset management is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different departments.
- Honest, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Willing to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision
