Purpose

• The Assistant Design Engineer will support the solar design team in preparing detailed PV system designs, managing project documentation, and assisting in tendering processes.
• The role also involves stock monitoring, technical coordination, and staying updated with the latest solar technologies and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Solar PV Design Support
• Assist in preparing detailed solar PV system designs using software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and SketchUp.
• Support preparation of layout drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and system calculations.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
• Stock & Inventory Monitoring
• Perform and check daily Stock In/Out (receiving and issuing lists).
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks.
• Prepare and submit monthly stock reports to Manager and Finance Department.
• Tendering & Documentation
• Assist in preparing and performing solar tender documentation processes.
• Maintain project documentation including photos, survey records, reports, and related files project-by-project.
• Technical Learning & Coordination
• Attend seminars, meetings (local and overseas), and technical sessions related to solar products and technology.
• Report key findings and updates to the Manager.
• Continuously learn and update knowledge of new solar products and technologies.
• General Responsibilities
• Complete other assigned duties as required.
• Support cross-functional coordination when necessary.

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering specialized in Electrical Engineering or Solar/Renewable Energy Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in Electrical or Solar Engineering field.
• Proficiency in design software:
• AutoCAD
• PVsyst
• Helioscope
• SketchUp (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components used in solar PV systems.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Good personality and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Able to travel when required.

Working Hours: 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
Benefits: Basic Salary + Meal Allowance + Transportation allowance will be provided
