Assistant HSE Supervisor

Job Description

Health, Safety, and Environmental Management

• •  Assist in implementing company HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits at operational sites.
  • Monitor compliance with client HSE requirements and company regulations.
  • Participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and hazard identification activities.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
  • Promote safety awareness among employees through toolbox talks and safety campaigns.

  Training and Awareness

  • • Conduct HSE induction training for new employees.
    • Organize safety awareness training programs for operational personnel.
    • Assist in emergency response drills and safety exercises.
    • Deliver toolbox talks and monthly HSE meetings.

    Service Operations Support

    • • Monitor HSE compliance in:
      • Catering and beverage services
      • Laundry services
      • Transportation services
      • General manpower services
      • Conduct kitchen hygiene inspections and workplace safety inspections.
      • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

      Client and Tender Support

      • • Assist in preparing HSE documents required for client tenders and contract renewals.
        • Complete HSE questionnaires and client prequalification requirements.
        • Coordinate with operational departments to collect necessary HSE information.
        • Support client audits, inspections, and meetings.
        • Documentation and Reporting
        • Prepare monthly HSE reports and statistics.
        • Maintain training records, inspection reports, and action tracking registers.
        • Assist in updating HSE manuals, procedures, and emergency response plans.

        Working Conditions

        • • Office-based and site-based assignments.
          • Travel to client locations and operational sites as required.
          • Participation in emergency response activities when necessary.

          Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

          • • Completion of workplace inspections and audits.
            • Timely submission of HSE reports.
            • Reduction of incidents and unsafe conditions.
            • Completion of HSE training programs.
            • Successful support of client audits and tender submissions.
            • Compliance with client and company HSE requirements.

            Requirements

            • • Minimum 5–8 years of HSE experience, with at least 2–3 years in offshore or marine projects (preferable).
              • Proven experience supporting HSE audit tendering/evaluation.
              • Proven experience in completing client HSE tender questionnaires and submitting supporting documentation.
              • Strong experience in developing and managing HSE documentation (policies, procedures, risk assessments, reports).
              • Experience delivering training, inductions, safety tours, and safety sampling.

              Qualifications & Requirements

              • • Education: Bachelor's degree/diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
                • Certifications:

                NEBOSH International General Certificate (or relevant preferred)

                • • First Aid / CPR / AED certified
                  • ISO 45001/14001 Internal Auditor (preferred)

                  Working Days - Monday to Friday

                  Working Hours - 8:30 to 17:30
