Location: Kent Ridge International School

Program: Cambridge International Curriculum (IGCSE & A-Level)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Biology and Chemistry lessons for Grades 7–12 in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Design lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with curriculum learning objectives
• Monitor and assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and prepare academic reports
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes discussion and inquiry
• Train and cultivate students to sit for IGCSE, As, and A levels Cambridge examination to achieve their maximum potential
• Conduct parents-teachers meetings, participate in monthly staff meetings, and school-wide events
• Uphold the school’s values, policies, and professional standards at all times
• Lead students on school’s science projects and science competitions
• Fulfill other duties assigned by school director and/or the management team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or other related field or higher education.

Work History

• Experience in teaching science, preferably with Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Science for 2 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

• A teaching qualification or professional teacher’s license in the specialized subject is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge syllabi is an advantage
• Good command of English (both spoken and written)
