Finance Manager

1. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. (Master’s degree or CPA/CFA preferred.)
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting.
• At least 3-5 years of managerial experience leading finance teams.
• Experience in manufacturing, export-oriented industries, or multinational companies is highly preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems and multinational reporting environments is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of Cambodian tax laws, statutory requirements, and financial regulations.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory control, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, be able to work under pressure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

1. Job Summary: The Finance Manager is responsible for leading all finance, accounting, tax, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance activities of ZINUS Cambodia. This role ensures accurate financial management, supports business decision-making through financial analysis, maintains strong internal controls, and ensures compliance with Cambodian regulations and ZINUS corporate policies.

The Finance Manager partners closely with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, HR, and Headquarters Finance teams to drive cost efficiency, business performance, and sustainable growth.

1. Duties & Responsibility

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions for the company.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and recommendations to support business and strategic decision-making.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee manufacturing finance activities, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Monitor raw material consumption, labor costs, overhead expenses, and operational efficiencies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate policies.
• Oversee tax filings, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and other regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and government authorities.
• Manage annual financial audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management, cash forecasting, banking relationships, and working capital optimization.
• Review and approve financial transactions, payments, and expenditures in accordance with authorization policies.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal control systems, financial processes, and risk management practices.
• Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support business expansion projects, investments, capital expenditure evaluations, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Partner with department managers to provide financial guidance and improve overall business performance.
• Lead ERP system enhancements, process automation projects, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Manage, coach, develop, and evaluate Finance and Accounting team members to build a high-performing organization.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance throughout the organization.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager.
