This hands-on role focuses on end-to-end production including professional graphic design, photography, and comprehensive video production (concepting, scripting, shooting, and editing) for both short-form and long-form digital media. Acting as a visual storyteller, this position collaborates closely with the marketing team to turn institutional concepts, student stories, and campus events into highly engaging, platform-optimized creative collateral.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design high-quality graphics, digital layouts, and marketing collateral for social media, websites, and institutional promotional materials in accordance with UP’s brand guidelines.
  • Conceptualize, script, film, and edit both short-form (e.g., Reels, TikTok) and long-form video content showcasing campus life, student stories, and academic programs.
  • Provide professional photography and media coverage for university events, student profiles, and official campus activities to build and maintain a high-quality digital asset library.
  • Organize and maintain digital media archives, including raw footage, photographs, and design source files, to support efficient collaboration and asset reuse across the marketing team.
  • Manage creative projects independently from concept to completion while collaborating with the marketing team on large-scale campaigns and institutional events.
  • Brainstorm and propose innovative visual concepts that engage target audiences, while overseeing production equipment (cameras, lighting, and audio) and managing digital asset storage to ensure a secure and efficient workflow.
  • Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager to support the marketing team.

Benefits

  • Gain hands-on experience and expand your skills across multiple creative and digital marketing disciplines.
  • Enjoy the creative freedom to bring your ideas to life in a supportive environment while collaborating closely with the marketing team and management.
  • Access scholarship opportunities for yourself and your eligible family members through both university and external scholarship programs.
  • Receive annual salary increments based on performance evaluations, along with seniority pay in accordance with Cambodia Labor Law.
  • Benefit from 18 days of annual leave and 10 days of paid sick leave in accordance with Cambodia Labor Law.
  • Receive full National Social Security Fund (NSSF) coverage, along with additional health and accident insurance benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Media/Communications, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film Production, or equivalent practical experience (a strong portfolio is essential)

  • Expertise in operating professional camera bodies, lenses, studio lighting equipment, and audio recording gear, including microphones and mixers.
  • Strong knowledge of video codecs, lighting techniques, and advanced color grading.
  • Familiarity with cloud storage systems, digital asset management (DAM) tools, and file archiving best practices.
  • Portfolio: A collection of design or video samples is highly recommended

Soft Skills

  • Strong creative vision, visual storytelling ability, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively on high-production team projects.
