Gender Program Officer

Position Summary

Program dates: This cohort runs December 2026 – mid-March 2027 (approximately 3.5 months), delivered on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Delivers: Module 2 - Intersectional Feminist Leadership (20h).
• Develops: Full session content on gender, power, and intersectionality, built out from the approved curriculum outline.
• Scope of Work
• Develop session-level content objectives, activities, materials — from the approved curriculum outline, written in plain, accessible language.
• Submit session plans for review ahead of delivery, consistent with AZAHAR's plain-language facilitator brief standards.
• Deliver sessions to the assigned cohort(s) on the program schedule.
• Conduct baseline and endline evaluation of the session delivered.
• Take part in structured feedback and program-quality reviews.
• Collaborate with AZAHAR's safeguarding and cultural-support staff as needed.
• Confirm delivery of each session block (e.g., a signed attendance record) and provide a brief written summary afterward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

General & Technical Skills

• Background in gender programming, women's leadership, or related community work
• Experience designing or delivering participatory training preferred
• Early-career or junior-level facilitators — this is intentionally not a senior-expert role.
• Strong written and spoken Khmer.
• Comfort with participatory, adult-learning teaching methods.
• No formal certification required beyond relevant experience.
