Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of company’s digital applications and systems. The role involves creating test plans, executing manual and automated tests, identifying software defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
 

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams, developers, and business teams to understand system requirements and define test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Execute functional, regression, and system testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs using issue tracking tools.
• Review system specifications and evaluate process flows based on technical requirements.
• Conduct end-to-end testing before software release to ensure system stability and performance.
• Perform regression testing whenever new features or fixes are deployed.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
• Document testing phases, results, and defects for project tracking.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience with manual testing and automated testing processes.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).
• Knowledge of web, mobile, and API testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or database testing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Khmer.
