QA Automation Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Test Automation Strategy
   • Define and implement robust automation frameworks.
   • Drive the development of reusable component libraries.
   • Ensure scalability of regression test coverage.
   • Team Leadership & Growth
     • Manage and mentor QA engineers.
     • Set clear performance goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
     • Promote testing best practices across cross-functional squads.
     • Release Readiness & Quality Gates
       • Ensure all releases meet defined testing coverage, reliability, and SLA targets.
       • Align testing efforts with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
       • Tooling & Infrastructure
         • Own and maintain testing pipelines.
         • Collaborate with DevOps to ensure stability, efficiency, and integration with CI tools.
         • Reporting and Metrics
           • Provide visibility into automation KPIs, test coverage, flaky tests, and quality trends.
           • Use data to drive continuous improvement in testing processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.

Working Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in backend and full-stack development.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering or QA teams.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable digital products.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of coding standards and quality assurance practices.

Business Understanding:

• Deep knowledge of system design and backend infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security standards and data privacy, especially in banking systems.
• Ability to balance project deadlines with technical debt management.
• Awareness of fintech regulatory and compliance requirements.
