- Prior experience in telecommunications, banking / fintech, or large enterprise IT environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Outstanding fresh graduates with strong internships, capstone projects, hackathon achievements, or technical certifications may also be considered.
- Industry certifications are considered an advantage — for example: TOGAF Foundation, AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Associate-level, ITIL Foundation, TM Forum Open Digital Architecture (ODA) Fundamentals (or higher), or equivalent.
- Strong academic record or demonstrable project portfolio in system design, or software development.
- Strong grasp of solution architecture principles and design patterns.
- Understanding enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, and TM Forum ODA is a plus.
- Working knowledge of system integration: REST / GraphQL APIs, API Gateway, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or private cloud) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of database concepts like SQL vs NoSQL, OLAP vs OLTP, CAP Theorem, Event-Sourcing, Dual-Write Problem, data modelling, and ETL / data pipeline.
- Hands-on familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or C#).
- Awareness of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, as-code (e.g., infrastructure-as-code, docs-as-code), and version control (Git).
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, identity & access management, and data-privacy considerations.
- Understanding telecommunications domain components such as OSS/BSS, 5G core, charging, billing, CRM, or digital channels is a plus.
- Knowledge and ability to impart or exchange information by verbal, written, or other means.
- Strong analytical, structured-thinking, and problem-solving skills including the knowledge and ability to identify the root cause, establish cause-and-effect linkages, and propose solutions.
