Position Summary

Reporting Line: Pre-School Principal

Job Purpose

The Pre-School Teacher is responsible for delivering highquality early childhood education in accordance with the curriculum of Herrington International School (HIS) while ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and holistic development of all students.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold high standards of discipline, moral values, academic excellence, and character development for all students.
• Organise the classroom and lessons to optimise student learning, develop positive and professional relationships with students, and identify individual strengths and learning needs when planning instruction.
• Prepare and submit lesson plans, weekly planners, academic narratives, and assessments in accordance with school procedures and academic timelines for review and approval by the Principal and the Head of School.
• Work collaboratively with faculty members, school administration, and the Head of School to promote a strong HIS teamwork culture.
• Assign and evaluate homework and class assignments in accordance with school policies and timelines, providing feedback within the required period.

Languages

• English - Good
• Khmer - Good is preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Work History

• Preschool teaching experience for 2 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

• Good command of English; Khmer is an advantage.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and classroom management.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and student development.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication, teamwork, and lesson-planning skills.
