Head of Accounting

Job Requirements

Background and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. ACCA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting operations and the month-end and year-end close.
Hands-on experience with inventory accounting, costing, stock counts and inventory controls.
Experience in automotive, distribution, trading or a similar multi-entity group environment is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards (CIFRS, IFRS, including inventory standards), Cambodian tax regulations and statutory obligations.
Understanding of internal control systems, segregation of duties and audit procedures.
Knowledge of payroll accounting, fixed assets, inventory costing and valuation, and intercompany and consolidation accounting.
Proficiency in ERP and accounting software (Odoo preferred, including its inventory module) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting and inventory matters to non-finance colleagues.
