Description

We are looking for motivated Computer Science and STEAM Teacher to teach at primary level. If you are passionate about technology and education, join us to inspire and nurture future innovators!

Responsibilities:
• Develop lesson plans, curricula, and assessments for Computer Science subject.
• Teach computer science subjects to primary and lower secondary students.
• Project-based teaching to primary and lower secondary students on LEGO/ Robotics/ STEAM lessons.
• Manage and maintain school STEAM laboratory/ Makerspace equipment (e.g. 3D printers, microcontrollers, robotics
gear, power/hand tools, craft supplies).
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support.
• Foster a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, events, and student development programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and report to department HODs.
• Perform job-related and/or non-teaching supervisory duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/ ICT/ IT with minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong interest or experience in LEGO Education, Robotics, STEM/STEAM or Maker Education.
• Computer Science/ ICT skills: Scratch or blocked-based programming, basic Python or any other programming languages, knowledge on Computer Science, Hardware/Software systems, Microsoft Office Applications
• Must be ICT/ digital literacy.
• Experience teaching children in primary and/or secondary education is preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work with students of different ages and abilities.
• Good classroom management and communication skill.
