Compliance, Legal & Tax Manager

Description

- Manage MIC permits, land-use permissions (Form La Na 39), industrial permits, and customs authorizations.

- Oversee corporate income tax, commercial tax, withholding tax, tax planning, tax filing, and tax compliance.

- Coordinate with the Internal Revenue Department (IRD) and relevant government authorities on tax matters, audits, and regulatory requirements.

- Review contracts, including BOT agreements, from legal and tax perspectives.

- Monitor legal, tax, and regulatory risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Requirements

- LL.B. required; LL.M., Advocate status, or relevant professional qualifications preferred.

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in legal affairs, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

- Good knowledge of Myanmar tax laws, tax filing, tax audits, and MIC procedures.

- Strong contract review, negotiation, analytical, and government liaison skills.
