Position Summary

Department: Sales & Marketing Department

Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships across all company service lines. This role focuses on client retention, recurring revenue growth, cross-selling, upselling, and long-term account development.

The KAM acts as the primary relationship owner for assigned strategic accounts (top 20% VIP Clients/Partners) and ensures clients receive proactive support, professional communication, and long-term business solutions aligned with their growth stage, across all MiE’s Main Service Lines. Chinese-speaking and English-Speaking ability are required due to frequent engagement with Chinese-speaking and English-Speaking investors and companies.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
  • Support the company’s marketing and lead generation initiatives.
  • Invite prospecting and potential clients to join company events, webinars, networking sessions, and other campaigns with the purpose of building relationships, generating leads, and closing sales.
  • Support event attendance follow-up and sales conversion activities.
  • Identify and introduce potential strategic partners, referral partners, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Identify satisfied clients who may be suitable for testimonials, case studies, success stories, interviews, or other marketing purposes.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to strengthen brand visibility and business growth initiatives.
  • KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
  • Manage portfolio of strategic and high-value clients (Top 20% VIP Clients/Partners).
  • Build long-term business relationships with key decision makers.
  • Conduct regular account review meetings with clients.
  • Understand client business objectives and operational challenges.
  • Ensure excellent post-sales client experience.
  • Maintain high client retention and satisfaction.
  • CROSS-SELLING & UPSELLING
  • Identify opportunities across all MiE Main Service Lines.
  • Introduce additional services aligned to client lifecycle stage.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to propose integrated solutions.
  • Increase recurring and bundled service revenue.
  • Promote long-term service engagement rather than one-time transactions.
  • CLIENT RETENTION & CHURN MANAGEMENT
  • Monitor client engagement and satisfaction levels.
  • Identify early warning signs of client dissatisfaction.
  • Escalate and coordinate issue resolution internally.
  • Develop account retention strategies.
  • Maintain strong renewal and recurring service rates.
  • STRATEGIC CLIENT COMMUNICATION
  • Serve as the primary communication bridge between clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure professional, timely, and solution-oriented communication.
  • Prepare account updates, reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct executive-level client presentations when necessary.
  • CRM & ACCOUNT REPORTING
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and client interaction history.
  • Monitor account revenue, pipeline, and renewal opportunities.
  • Submit monthly account performance reports.
  • Track account growth opportunities and service penetration.
  • INTERNAL COORDINATION
  • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, HR, and Consulting teams.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Support internal teams in understanding client expectations.
  • Maintain alignment between sales promises and operational delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field

Work History

  • Leadership role for 3 years as a minimum
  • B2B sales, account management, or client relationship management for 5 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

  • Experience handling international and corporate clients
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or business services is preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of compliance-driven sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems. 4.4 LANGUAGE
  • Excellent English and Chinese (Mandarin) communication
  • Khmer is a strong advantage
