Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all students in the class, ensuring equality of opportunities
• Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct
• Consistently treat all students with dignity and build relationships rooted in mutual respect
• Observe proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position
• Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, staff members, and external agencies in the best interest of the children.
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school
• Demonstrate outstanding teaching practice in all areas
• Be accountable for the attainment, progress, and outcome of students you teach and monitor every student’s progress against the assessment and school’s learning goals.
• Set clear and challenging learning targets that build on prior attainment for each student; use an appropriate range of observation, monitoring, and recording strategies as a basis for setting challenging learning objectives for children of all backgrounds, abilities, and dispositions
• Liaise effectively with parents and offer opportunities for them to engage in their child’s learning at home
• Have a clear understanding of the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs; gifted and talented; and/or disabilities; and be able to use and evaluate distinctive teaching approaches to engage and support them all

Languages

• English - Fluent is required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Years Education or Teaching Qualification is preferred

Work History

• Teaching experience for 2 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills

• Experience with the English National Curriculum and EYFS is desired.
• Computer and ICT knowledge (Ms. Office, internet & email, and other teaching apps);
